CiviCRM in everyday work

What you can use CiviCRM for every day

CiviCRM is especially powerful when contacts, contact-related cases and recurring workflows come together in one place. These examples show four typical uses many organisations need every day.

Organise contacts

  1. 01 · InputSeparate address lists and new contacts
  2. 02 · polishubOrganise people, organisations and their relationships
  3. 03 · ResultOne shared contact database for the team

Bring contacts from different sources together in one place. CiviCRM distinguishes people and organisations, lets you map relationships between contacts and helps you tag contacts and assign them to groups. Over time, this creates a shared picture of who you work with.

Work with contacts

  1. 01 · InputA call, email, conversation, task or new information
  2. 02 · polishubRecord activities, add notes and plan tasks
  3. 03 · ResultHistory and next steps remain visible

When you work with a contact, record that work directly in CiviCRM. Conversations, emails, notes and tasks form an activity history. Add new information where it belongs, so the team can see what has happened, what is known about a contact and what needs doing next.

Manage fees and donations

  1. 01 · InputMembership, donation or due contribution
  2. 02 · polishubAssign payments to the right contact
  3. 03 · ResultContributions and payment history remain traceable

Manage memberships, fees and donations together with contact data and issue donation receipts. At the contact, you can see what was agreed, paid or remains open without maintaining separate lists.

Organise cases

  1. 01 · InputRequests, participation or new cases
  2. 02 · polishubBring together people involved, status and activities
  3. 03 · ResultThe team can track the work

Whether it is a public enquiry, grant application, advice case or event registration: assign people and activities to a shared context and keep track of progress and history.

The examples show what CiviCRM can do. Your organisation controls its design, configuration and further development; our knowledge section helps you get started.

Your organisation retains functional control: you decide how CiviCRM is structured, what data you use and who has access.

Technology that thinks ahead

Not every organisation needs another isolated solution.

polishub combines a reliable shared foundation with a configuration that fits your work. Behind the service is polbeo’s own product technology: it helps us organise recurring processes systematically and provide suitable work environments.
